Hey all.

Well right now I am at GCCC and I've got about two hours till my next, and last class for the day, choir. So I thought I would take this time to inform anyone who cares about how my college experience has been so far. It hasn't been that bad. Yesterday was my first day, and I didn't get lost, which is very good. Today hasn't been too bad either. My understanding theater teacher is very cool. There are no tests or exams in that class, just five assignments. Two of them is to attend GC's two plays this semester and write a critiqe on them. And earning extra credit is easy. If I attend and arts/theater/music performance, and I can provide a program or ticket stub then I get extra credit.. Not like I needed any extra incentive to go to the choir performances or drama productions (and Toxic Audio of course). ::grins:: So you guys better do a good job, since Carmen (my theater teacher, apparently all theater people go by their first names except if they got their PHd, which then they are all snobby about being Dr. Blah) asks questions about the performances and our opinions and whatnot to be sure we actually went. And I won't lie about you guys to her, very much. :P
My religion class is interesting. You know how in high school teachers will give you an index card to put your name, email, phone number etc. and will ask a question or two about you? Well we did that in world religion class, except there was only one question to answer.. What is the meaning of life? And Mark, I think you'll be pleased by this, but she said that one answer was quite clear. And I was thinking, "Would I be too much of a smart ass to put 42?" when she got a marker, and wrote 42 on the board, at which I started laughing. The scary thing was, I was the only one who got it. Everyone else just kinda stared blankly at her. After that we got an introspective worksheet to complete, which some of the questions are kind of tricky. I think only one person actually finished the worksheet in class, since after a while she went on to start talking about stuff and I was kept busy taking notes for the rest of class. Heck, the books aren't even in yet and we were taking notes on ch 1. I am lucky however, I happened to get a copy of the fifth edition, which is supposed to be almost identical to the sixth. Another girl did too, and she said we can keep those. My religion teacher says "okay" a lot, like at the end of every sentence. It gets a bit annoying after a while. And she has a very airy voice, which makes it a bit difficult to take her seriously. But other than that she seems nice.

Well, I'll stop rambling so you can skip this entry to find more interesting things to read. :P Talk to everybody later.
