Today I did something I've never done before, I actually played a game all the way through to the end and beat it! W00T for me! heehee. Well I actually had a little help.. A lot of help... Mark and I played Halo today and it was greatly amusing.. He will probably be able to provide a more amusing rendition of it than I can, but I will give it my best.
I died quite a few times during the game, and I killed Mark accidentally a few times too. He would do foolish things, like walk into my line of sight while I'm shooting, or walk where I've chucked a grenade, so those aren't really my fault.. ::grins:: One time was uber-funny. He had just died, and I was in a ghost (a hovercraft to you non-Halo people). Well he was searching for his corpse to find one of his favorite weapons, it was either the rocket launcher or the shotgun, and I didn't know where he was (a theme throughout the game) and I pulled forward and I kinda sorta accidentally ran him over with the ghost... a little... It was funny seeing his reaction though it was totally unintentional. So then he had to go find his OTHER corpse to get his weapons.. While I was laughing my head off at my mistake of course. A couple times he got me back though, bashing me over the head when we weren't around baddies.. I didn't like it much. ::chuckles::
Now, about my common theme throughout the game comment. I kinda kept losing him during the course of the game. He assigned a new name to me, but I can't remember what it is.. Mark will have to refresh my memory on that one. But the meaning of my new name is perfect for my directional imparedness.
Today was a ton of fun. I have never in my life sat down and played a game for such an extended period of time. Though having my legs keep falling asleep was a bit annoying. I can't wait to see Mark's rendition of the events surrounding the day. It ought to be quite amusing..
