Empires come and go. We live forever.

Updates for my journal have been few and far between. In the last few months they've been a little further than normal. Writing and recording seemed to lose it's importance somewhat and I found myself pursuing other activities. If it's not recorded, I'll forget the finer details... so here it goes.

5 months ago I moved in with Debzillah in Petersham which was fantastic. It gave us the opportunity to spend more time together while concurrently saving for our trip to Europe. She inspired me to start running which is something I've never previously considered. We would even run together as part of a saturday morning ritual. :)

It has been 7 weeks since I last saw my lady and her presence is dearly missed. Thankfully, in just over a week I'll be joining her. Together we'll be exploring eastern europe for a month. My overseas experiences to date have been for business which is lonely and tedious. I'm certain that this trip will prove to be a much richer and more rewarding experience. The prospect of going places I've never been with someone I love is quite awesome.

I recently paid off and subsequently shredded my credit card. I have a new phone, new boots, and my car's working properly again after a major service. I also have my international drivers permit and I've booked the car to drive from frankfurt to munich. It's all coming together nicely.

Hmmm... more later. Itinerary work now.
