They say the wretched get their kingdom. Bring it on, it's my time, let's go, we all die.

For all lovers of Ferris Bueller's Day Off have a read of this article. It made me perk up a little more than coffee could this morning.

Tax is the bane of my existence. Money returned should feel like more of a reward when I've worked to wrestle it out of greedy government fingers. But the effort it takes to find those little bits of paper combined with calculating asset depreciation is just too overwhelming for the likes of me. I submitted last years tax about a week ago and had it returned to be with a big "SIGN HERE" sticker. I figure any other problems they find are easily explained by the fact that I have no idea what I'm doing. I'll just pay a tax agent for this financial year. Throwing money at problems makes them go away.

What a spectacular day. Good enough to be a desktop wallpaper in your open plan desk area.

I bought myself a 32" HD-LCD with all the bells and whistles for the end of my bed. Hooked it up to my computer so that I can watch DVDs in bed. Now I just need a bed warmer of some description. :D

I'm gonna set me up a dropspot some time this week. Because I'm all for the idea of hidden treasure. Yargh 8oX

The xbox360 can't play video media other than WMV. Lame. Anyone know an effective workaround that doesn't involve real time transcoding?

dropspot, tax, fbdo, xbox360
