Well, the weekend is about over. It's been a long one. Rachel left on Friday, and that just sucked. I was a wreck. Not in the 'crying' way, but the 'very disconnected' kinda way. It's all good, though. She's with family, and then going to live it up in Costa Rica, and I'm going to be with family, I'm hanging with friends, and just having some 'me' time.
Weekend recap:
Friday - Stayed home. Played guitar. Fell asleep reading American Hardcore.
Saturday - Went out with Theresa (roommate), and her brother Kevin, step-brother Michael, and cousin Amber. Hit up the Alley Cat. I forgot how much I like that bar. I mean, yeh, it's gotten a little trendy, but I'm not that dude who is all "Oh, it's cool to hang here? I'm never coming back." That shits overrated. Anywho. Ashley, from the Peggy Sues showed up, and we all sat and drank and sang old 80's and 90's songs. Good times. Scored free food at Broad Ripple Bagel. Awesome.
Sunday - Holiday lunch for the deli at T.G.I. Friday's. Had some drinks, some food, some laughs. Managed to keep my cool....although my patience was being tested. Went and took care of Autumn. Kicked it there for a while, so she could run around for a while. Came home, played guitar. Watched Accepted. Now I'm here, typing.
Lorenguard is off to a slow start. We've had a few shows offered, but nothing is set. Oh well. Someone needs to light a fire under this shit.
