Damn.
So I found my first journal entry. It's dated December 3, 2001. Geeze. 5 years on this thing. Kind of silly to think about sometimes. It's been at least 8 months since my last update, so, here goes:
Lorenguard had the scare of a lifetime with David being stricken with the Leukemia. After his treatments, the cancer is gone, and the dude is getting better. The band had it's first show back on October 28th. Went well. First show with our new guitarist. Dave is amazing. I'm glad he's in the band. He's a good dude.
Moved out of my grandparent's house. I am currently residing with Theresa, over on the dirty east side. It's nice though. The whole privacy thing and all. Not a chance of ever getting that at my grandmother's. Aggie can be a bitch sometimes, but hey, she's a cat.
I'm working part time at Pier 1, over near Washington Square. Job is hella easy. I picked up a $225 coffee table for $25 bucks today. HOLLA DISCOUNTS!!!!
AND NOW, THE PART YOU ALL WANT TO SEE AND READ:
I have met someone! Her name is Rachel, and she is amazing. She's from Buffalo, NY. She's a graduate student at IUPUI, and she has such a wonderful, true heart. She's an amazingly kind hearted person. It was actually one month ago yesterday that we met. We met at the Light the Night walk, as we were both walking in honor of David. I decided to go up and talk to her, and in true Teej fashion, I open with "Hey, you're Rachel's friend Rachel.....", because she's Lisa's friend. I'm an idiot. It was cute, she laughed, and we talked for the duration of the walk. Very nice. So, since that day, we've talked and or hung out pretty much every single day. It's a wonderful thing. I'm going to meet her family for Thanksgiving out in Buffalo. I'm very excited, both at the chance to meet her family, and the chance to travel out of state.
I donated blood today, and my arm hurts like hell. Weird.
