Currently reading Ancillary Justice. It took a little to get used to the default being female - one of the cultural groups doesn't distinguish between the genders in language, so they use she/her as the default - but so far it's living up to the praise it's received.
Took yesterday off to make a long weekend out of Horse Day. Was starting to get unhelpfully mopey but fortunately A. came around and we talked rubbish for a few hours.
Realised that I have been rebelling from my past music snobbery by listening to modern pop. Much of which is pretty decent, really.
