much to say!

I wanted to note that it was really cool to be back in Mass. at the Holyoke mall and see so many people with Sox hats on.

I wanted to say that I'm going to try to start scoring games with a scorecard and everything. I went online today to try to figure out the basics. It's going to drive me crazy for a while but I'll get it eventually. Matt said he'd be able to help me and so did Lisa! It's now into the 7th inning of a rain-delay game so I'm going to try to score the last 2 (*hopefully we won't need the 9th) innings (inning 7 and 8)... I already messed up the card by putting Renteria under the Sub spot for Damon. Oops.

I went to see Clay tonight. Our seats were shitty, it's a good thing I didn't pay for the ticket! But damn can that buy sing. I had goosebumps because his voice is just so amazing. And he's friggin' hilarious. Very conversational, cutest accent ever, I just wanted to give him a big hug. He sang two new songs that may potentially be on his next album that were both awesome. I can't wait for it to come out!

While I was at said concert, during the intermission (if you can call it that?), I decided to listen to the voice mail from Lisa that she'd left. It was some of the most disturbing news EVER. I haven't confirmed that it's true, but if Lisa says it then it's probably true: Mark Bellhorn, my man Mark, was picked up by a team. But not just any team- it was the YANKEES. I am so bitter and angry. After all the tears almost shed when we lost him. After all the pain I felt for his horrible playing and he signs with THEM?? I don't think I can feel the same way about him, how could he do this?? Is this his way of saying, "Fuck you, Red Sox, you should have kept me?" Or is this his way of saying, "Sweet, more money?" Or both, neither, AH?! So upsetting...

I looked at Grad. schools in the Boston area today at work. After being in Boston for the few hours that I was there over the weekend I had a revelation: I love being in the thick of big and exciting stuff- concerts, celebrity stuff, etc... I love graphic design, audio editing, video editing, etc... I've always WISHED I was a celebrity but was too stage-frightened to ever consider it as a career. So I put them all together and decided that maybe I should pursue broadcast journalism! There is a Masters program at BU that sounded quite good... Yes, I'm getting ahead of myself BUT... It was an exciting thought.

FINALLY... You've GOT to check out this picture of Jason Varitek. It's one of the ones that I took at the game that I photoshopped just a bit (blurred the background) and it is quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever done. I was so in love with it that I made it the background of my computer here and at work and also printed it in black and white to hang by my desk!! Because I'm in love with myself! Anyway, here it is (click it to make it BIG!):

Ok, I think that's plenty for today... 'Nite!
