Yay, more horsemen! The humor was great again - I love how Jordan takes everything in stride, and actually ends up helping Sam deal, in a way...

“And Plague?” Sam asked, trying to look serious. “He’s an asshole?”

“He’s a self-satisfied little prick, is what he is.”

Sam stared at him for a moment, then threw is head back and laughed. It was a reassuring sound, that laugh -- it was Sam’s normal laugh, the one that he gave when something he had heard surprised the humor out of him. Even though he knew that is was a good sign, it still pissed Jordan off that Sam had the balls to stand there and laugh at him after everything that had happened that day.

“What?” Jordan scowled. “What’s so god-damned funny?”

“You, dude,” Sam said still laughing. “You’re, like, picking favourites out of the fucking horsemen.”

“Don’t laugh at me! The dude’s a little bitch!” That only served to make Sam laugh harder. “Fine! Whatever! Laugh it up, Damian! Forgive me for expressing an opinion on the personalities of our uninvited guests!”

*dies* Jordan is so very, very likeable, and the Sam we get to see through him makes me smile and ache. The dream = beautiful and sensual and hot, and so painful, knowing Dean's gone, and I love Jordan's reactions and his convo with Sam. Funny as hell, but this?

Sam was quiet for a moment, and then, slowly, he nodded. “Yeah,” he said in a very small voice, shoulders hunching up a bit. “I -- I loved him --”

*breaks* Oh, Sammy. So, uh...I'm hopin' I'm not wrong in speculating about a future Horseman identity, after Plague revealed to us how he scored his badass job (I could see Dean being at once annoyed and amused by him). Cuz they deserve a reunion, and I wants Jordan to see it and tell me all about it :)

Thanks! I think that after everything he's been through, Sam needs someone who is willing to at least work to accept him -- all the baggage included, and Jordan's in a position where he's willing to give it his all to try to understand. And yeah, his being a smart-ass himself about it is more helpful to Sam than any drawn out heart to hearts would be.

And you have strong powers of prediction, I must say. *grins*

Great job! I'm really enjoying this story. I love how you are portraying the horsemen. I'm guessing we're gonna get one horseman per chapter? Loved the fact that Jordan was "sucked" into Sam's dream/memory of him and Dean...can I get sucked into that dream, too? :)
