So! For those of you who don't know, I'm going to be teaching English in the Marshall Islands for the next year, with minimal electricity at best, so no phone and certainly no internet. My cell phone technically still works, but is in the hands of my parents, so if you call it, you'll most likely get a rather terse-sounding gentleman saying, "What is your business with Rachael Dietlin's phone?" or something. If you're a guy, "terse" may escalate to "decidedly ominous." So it would be better for everybody involved if you didn't. I'll have e-mail sporadically until late August, when I leave the main city for the outer islands, and after that the only way to get in touch with me is through the postal system until next June. The address is:
Rachael Dietlin
c/o WorldTeach
P.O. Box 627
Majuro, MH, 96960
Republic of the Marshall Islands
It would help if you sent it priority and attached a custom's form (you might have to request one since most US post offices aren't really on the up-and-up about the postal policies of the Marshall Islands), especially if you're sending some sort of package.
If any of you would like to e-mail me your addresses so that I can write you, that would be awesome. Since my parents moved to D.C. and terminated our comcast account, that e-mail address no longer works. My new one is radietlin@gmail.com. It's not nearly as excitingly juvenile and high-school-japanese-fangirl as raineayui, I know, but we have to move with times.
