NBS YEAR 1 :D
and so, ytd marked the end of year 1 :D:D it was truly an awesome year seriously. even though it was just 6 months of sch, i think this is by far my most "happening" and interesting year in sch:D
and so, now for a conclusion of my first year in uni !
PENDRA!
the first group of friends that i made:) the camp was seriously awesome, and the people were even better.thinking back, i really didnt knw how we managed to survive the whole camp with SO little sleep, crazy schedule and such a big og. but it was the best uni camp, super tiring, but super fun! i like how most of us are still close even after the camp and being split into different halls, different tutorial groups, different ccas etcetc. i like the fact that we sit tgt in lectures, our weekly lunches, random outings, and being one of the tightest og :)
the pendra mugging sessions this sem were awesome, from morning to night, zomg. having to battle with the horrible sch food, the freezing seminar rooms, and also the urge to slack. but at least we all pulled through :)
ISOLDE!
well, although the og sort of disintegrated and outings are like.. once in a blue moon, but when there's one, most of us try to make it :) its good to see all these familiar faces around sch sometimes and although its hard to keep in touch since we're in different faculties but at least we still say hi :)
the best memories were probably the last few days of camp when we really got closer and more bonded:)
HALL 10 !
the place where i spend most of my time at !! even my mom thinks my hme is there and not at my real home. HAHAHA.
even though hall camp was my third camp, it was still enjoyable even though most of the games and programs were similar to the other camps. and also, this camp was probably the most impt one since the ppl there will be the ones that i will be living with for one year ( 6mths actually) HAHA. with maggi mee gatherings late at night, hall events, hanging out at each other rooms, birthday celebrations, getting scolded for making too much noise, blk bbqs, blk outings and many more! i think i played too much in sem 1 thats why results so cui.
there's also mass order of koi whenever someone heads out to get some, floorball IHG, recent birthday celebrations tgt, my awesome pendra-hall-GIH sarahloo, and also all the blk rep duties which we all dont exactly like to do. haha:)
and then here is my awesome roomie! i think we are quite similar in some ways but yet very different also. haha. and because of her, im sleeping later and later. haiz. throughout this whole year, we had htht sessions, late night mugging sessions, nua-ing sessions, stalking-ppl-on-facebook sessions, cooking maggi mee at 4am, having meals right outside the room so as not to make the room smell, laundry washing sessions at night, and many other random stuff! :D hopefully we can get a room tgt nxt year too! :)
and what will be the most memorable will be the hall pageant. totally new experience for me. made new friends from other blks, had long training sessions which went late into the night, leaving us all drained out. the complaints, the poses, walking properly, couple poses, group dance performance and the clothes trying sessions! omg all these felt like just ytd. k cliche i knw, but its true. on that day itself, we spent loads of time on make up, last min practices, doing our hair and trying to come up with answers for the Q&A part! so glad that all went well and we performed well :)
apart from all these, im also glad for all the new friends that i've made around in hall, in sch and through friends! these 6 months passed very fast and even though i was always looking forward to the weekends and dreading mondays, but overall, it was still an enjoyable 6 mths. and recently, while we were walking around sch, getting from place to place, we would recall what happened at that particular place, such as the venue where we had the thousand handshake, the area where we had the slippers game, the stocking game and so on.
year 1 passed by so quickly and now its the summer holidays! hopefully my grades will be better this sem after trying to be consistent in my work and putting more effort in doing tutorials and assignments.
and now... its time to PARTY!! :D:D:D:D:D
