Happy Birthday to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Last night my pals took me to TGIF to celebrate my belated 21st. On hand were Liz, Sarah, Betty, Anna, Ashley, Lauren, Christina, and Kristin. Haha, yay for getting lost three times before we got to the restaurant. The fog and the recurring memory of Texas Chainsaw Massacre didn't exactly help :). Good thing our spirits were lifted once Cher came on the radio.
We got seated right away at the restaurant and served our meal. I got the Tower of Appetizers with Betty, and it was so delish. Mmm Jack Daniels, I think I'm in lust with you. I also had my obligatory 21st birthday drink: I got a very filling Blue Storm which contained Kuhlua, Pina Colada, and Vodka. And I finished the tall glass all by myself (with a help of a few friends who couldn't resist a sip). Although I did not get sung to, I did get my cake for free. The cheap bastard in me is smiling right now. Last but not least, my pals really know me well, because they got me lovely lovely skater boys as my birthday gift. Well, actually it was the Tony Hawk skateboarding game for my GameBoy Advance. 'Tis a little inside joke, but Tony Hawk, I think I may lust after you as well.
My pocket camera/camcorder came in handy, not just during the round-table birthday greetings from my friends, but also for the girly nightcap afterwards. Christina had some of us over in her room for some mix drink shenanigans. I think we made Sex on the Beach, Fuzzy Navels, SeaBreeeze, and straight-up vodka jello shots. I only had a sip of the SOTB and SeaBreeze, because the Fuzzy Navel and the jello-shot (in addition to my triple alcoholic beverage at dinner) made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside already. We played a really good drinking game called Mushroom. Anna is now the uncontested lightweight of the group. The girl was flagged half-way into the game, and the rest of us actually volunteered to drink for her.
I ended the night just slightly weaning-off my buzz, and fell asleep watching "Little Mermaid" with my roomie. Good end to a good night :)
I have to go now because my sexy sexy boyfriend is here and is kissing my cheek. Today is our 6 month anniversary and he came up to spend the day with me. Oh yeaaaaaa....happy birthday to ME!
P.S. Yesterday I made my first liquor run. And I didn't even get carded. Kinda made the whole waiting-to-be-of-legal-age thing kinda anticlimactic, eh?
