1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand? Or is it all the same to you? It seems that I have become a yarn snob lately. I don't mind a little acrylic, as long as something isn't mainly acrylic. I just really love soooft yarns!
2. Do you spin? Crochet? I'd love to learn to spin. I tried signing up for a class at my lys, but I was the only one who signed up, so it was canceled. I know how to crochet, but I prefer knitting. Crochet is ok for edgings.
3. Do you have any allergies? (smoke, pets, fibers, perfume, etc.) Nope, no allergies that I know of.
4. How long have you been knitting? I became interested in knitting Jan or Feb of 2002, but got busy with school and gave it up about a month later. I've been completely obsessed with knitting again since November of 2004.
5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list? I think I did at one point, but don't remember. If I find it, I'll update this with a link.
6. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.) Honeysuckle, lavender, pear, cherry.
7. Do you have a sweet tooth? That's the only kind of tooth to have! I live for goood chocolate(anything but American chocolate!)
8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Anything I can think of. If I think of something I want sewn, I'll sew. If I want something built, I'll build it. I'd love to take a pottery wheel class and fling mud!
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD) I like most music, except rap and country. It all depends on my mood.
10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand? It seems that I'm very into turquoise, teal, blues, purples, maybe some green or red mixed in.
11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets? I live by myself with my awesome puppy Shiner! He's the best dog in the world!
12. What are your life dreams? (really stretching it here, I know) I'd love to someday explore the world, and see all of the places that most people don't think of seeing.
13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? I've recently fallen in love with Noro and Alpaca yarns(even tho I'm in Texas and it's way too hot for that stuff!) I also love pretty sock yarns like Koigu and Cherry Tree Hill.
14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like? Itchy, gross eyelash novelty yarns. I'm not a fan of extremely fluffy yarns.
15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s? Recently it's been felted things and socks.

17. What are you knitting right now? Booga bag, socks, ipod pouch, baby blanket.
18. What do you think about ponchos? Yuck, not for me.
19. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? I use whatever is easiest to use to make my project.
20. Bamboo, aluminum, plastic? My favorites are my bryspun plastic needles, but have had to use aluminum lately because my dog likes to chew my plastic needles.
21. Are you a sock knitter? I have become one thanks to my last secret knitting pal!
22. How did you learn to knit? My mom taught me when I was 7 or 8, but I gave up when I got bored with it. I retaught myself with online videos and books.
23. How old is your oldest UFO? I have one from when I was 7, does that count? Other than that, most everything I have is unfinished. I love knitting, but not seaming things together.
24. What is your favorite animated character or a favorite animal/bird? cookie monster, goofy, the cows from south park.
25. What is your favorite holiday? Christmas is great, because I get to spend time with my family.
26. Is there anything that you collect? I try to keep myself from falling back into my pack rat ways. I do love collecting yarns and trying to figure out what to do with it all.
27. What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have? Interweave knits
28. Any books out there you are dying to get your hands on? Adrienne Vittadini spring pattern book. I'd love to find the audiobook for Catch-22, or the Chronicles of Narnia books. Audiobooks = knitting and reading at the same time!
29. Any patterns you have been coveting, but haven't bought for one reason or another?? Hmmm, can't think of any.
