Bones and Daisies
I finally made myself a Pushing Daisies icon! I added the little heart cloud myself. I'm still not sure if I'm happy with it. I do like the coloring, and the two of them are so freaking adorable. So I'm okay with it as a whole.
Lots going on! Mostly work stuff. I saw One Missed Call last night (you Moonlight fans will be amused to know that Shannyn Sossamon's character's name is Beth), then afterwards the hubby and I went to an amazing Christmas party hosted by a game studio that's owned by the company he works for. Interestingly, this moderately sized studio put on a bash that far outmatched the rather lackluster affair his parent company had last week. The theme was Night at the Museum, since it was held at the Natural History Museum after hours. People even dressed up in costume (fancy dress, for you Brits out there) as vampires, mummies and lots of weird, random "unnatural" things. They had Jason Bentley, a rather famous local D.J., spinning tunes in the North American Mammals hall, followed by Crystal Method. The only problem was, they were only two bars and the lines were super long. Did they not anticipate the drinking potential of this crowd? Still, there's something kind of decadent about partying in a museum at night with the dinosaur bones.
Better get back to work. I've got to get that stuff out of the way so I can get back to holiday preparations. What was that I said about being ready early this year? Pfft. I should have known better.
