i was reading through the posted answers to this writer's block question (relatively pleasantly surprised to discover an overwhelming majority of the responses are along the lines of "uh, 1) don't lie and 2) you don't 'win' a person.") and i really love every single thing you've had to say in your response. you totally brightened my morning. :)
