so i broke a group of staples off from a larger piece and they fit perfectly inside the width of a staple. i.e., if there had been one more staple, they wouldn't have fit and it didn't take pruning--it was all in the initial break. it's little accidents like this that remind me that jesus is looking out for me, when he's not trying to plow chicks
