[Have Sinbad, who was currently strolling around the center of the city. It was busier than he'd expected, and he couldn't exactly pinpoint Meg. He knew he should have told her where to find him - for a moment, he wished he was a better planner.
The heat was getting to him and the irritability of not being able to spot her seemed to bother him

I didn't think I was the lost puppy type.

He turns over with furrowed brows but half-smiles, letting his aggravation fade away.]
There you are...I couldn't............yeah.
You feel like anything in particular?

[ And her feminine wiles told her he was uncomfortable. She pinched him by the shirt to pull him out of rush hour traffic. ]

Sinbad blinks as he's led out by the collar of his shirt, at least until they're in a not-so-public area. She certainly wasn't like the women he'd been with.]
Wanna grab something to eat?
Reply
Only if you're offering.
Might wanna wait until rush hour's out of the way though.

[He shrugs.]

I think that's the best idea you've had all evening.
[ She takes delight in poking fun at your lack of...well, liking crowds. ]
Come on.
[ Was that an alleyway? Yup. Was there a very obvious wall there? Yup. A couple of crates later, she's sitting on top of it. ]
The short way around. Less people.

I have plenty of good ideas...sometimes they just take longer to come out, that's all.
[He crosses his arms and holds his head high as he follows, watching Meg do her work. He chuckles a bit.]
Well aren't you just more clever than a pirate?
Reply
Hopefully we'll see one or two this evening.
[ No, not clever. She didn't think about the other side, there's nothing to land on. She's lucky this time, landing on shaky feet, but sticks the landing altogether. ]
Are you saying I'm more clever than you?
Reply
Oh I can show you plenty right now, sweetheart.
[Feeling a slight jab to his pride, Sinbad finds his own way to get up and over the wall, only he does it all so quickly he doesn't land nearly as gracefullly. In fact, if he didn't make a tumbleroll out of his clumsiness, he would have landed on his face. He gets to his feet and dusts off his clothes. HE PLANNED THAT.]
Don't get too ahead of yourself, I said you're more clever than a pirate. I'm not your typical pirate.
[He holds his arm out to her.]

But still a pirate, right?
[ She'll go ahead and take that arm, hopefully, he doesn't spot that slight hesitance. ]

That wasn't funny...
[His tone quickly lightens.]
A pirate? No, I'm the pirate. The pirate of all pirates, the best of them all. I give all terrible pirates good names, just being so good at what I do. What pirate doesn't want to be Sinbad?
[He gives a wink and starts casually strolling with her, looking around the unfamiliar area for somewhere just to sit and eat with her. His appetite was growing, and a nice candlelit dinner with Meg seemed just about impossible to refuse right night.]

The pirate. Well, I don't know very many pirates, so I couldn't ask them personally.
[ Meg will give him credit for being cute. She's caught onto his flickering glances, and nudges over a little farther along the way. ]
Howabout over here.
Reply
[He looks when she nudges and smiles, though he won't admit aloud he could tell she was aware of his uncertainty.]
I'll have to take your word for it, I'm merely a traveler here.
[He does hold the door open for her.]

You're probably more than right. It's not a bad place. And the owner owes me a favor of sorts...so we should be scott-free.
[ They're led to the corner of the little place, alone, away from most people in there (Given there weren't very many in the first place.) She's been here enough that she has a 'usual', so she doesn't even bother to crack the small menu. ]
Thebes is good with travelers. Sometimes.

[He follows, taking in his surroundings as he walks behind her. He sits across and the first thing he goes for, of course, is the menu. His eyes scan it as he speaks.]
I've been here once or twice, plenty of suckers around here...
They have any seafood in this place?
