[ OOC: Taken just a little after
this post! ]
Please...
[ Kohaku's voice is low, drastically low, and streams of tears fall harshly on the ground from where the device is lying. From here, you can see the poor boy, crumbled and bruised, sitting next to a tree. Kirara is beside him, a low whine stream from her lips as she seems to by beside

But it's Kohaku, and more importantly it's Sango and he can't just say or do nothing.]
Send me your coordinates. I'll be right there.
[He's petty sure it's already too late, but even if it is, he has to get her body and more importantly, Kohaku, to safety.]
Stay there, okay? Stay there and look out for her until I get there. Can you do that for me?

Riku--! [ He's so glad to see you! But then, a wave of disappointment flashes through his face. No, he couldn't let him see them like this. Not when he was the one who--
But what else could he do?
Wordlessly, the boy chokes back another sob before cradling hold of his sister even more than before. ]

[And then the screen goes blank. He can run faster if he doesn't have to worry about trying to carry on a conversation at the same time.]

But at that moment all he can think about is Kohaku and how he has to get him to stop clinging to Sango because she isn't coming back.
His footsteps are light as they move across the already burnt ground. Crouching, he reached out a hand, petting Kirara for a moment, whispering to her quietly. Finally, he moves towards Kohaku, reaching out just as he had done to the cat, placing his hand on his shoulder gently before speaking quietly.]
Come on. We have to get you home.

He can hear noise, quietly, but makes no move for such an indication. Maybe he wanted to, but the small rattle of his spine only shook his tears anew. That's when he felt it; the tiny touch pressing against his shoulder. The boy jumped, slightly alarmed, but a wave of relief washes over the boy's face when he finally realized who it was.
Oh Riku... ] W- we have to get to the clinic first, right? I'm not sure where it is. But Sango-- [ Another choked sob. He can't handle this-- ]

We'll take her back home. I... I'll be able to heal her there. [It was a lie. And he knew it was likely that Kohaku would know it was a lie. But he had to get them both back there somehow.]
Just... trust me, okay?

But when he spoke of healing her, Kohaku became confused. He didn't know whether to believe it or not, but with his head clouded with so many emotions it was hard to tell what exactly he was feeling. So for now, he was going to try to trust him...
Yeah. Trust him. ]
Uh huh... [ It was just a whisper. Exhausted, pitiful. He took this moment to try to sit up, being very careful when doing so. ]

Moving closer, he reached for one of the other's hand, intent on helping him up.]
Come on. We're gonna call someone to come and help me take care of Sango, okay?

Once the hand is outstretched to him, Kohaku lifts his blurry gaze and with a shaky hand extends it forward to try to pull himself up. That, in itself, was one of the hardest things Kohaku felt he ever had to do. His legs were wobbly and limbs refused to cooperate with any of the signals his brain tried to send out. Kohaku was a mess. ]
O... okay... [ Voice rasped and wounded, the boy suddenly drove into the Riku's arms. He was crying uncontrollably and looking for some sort of support. Yet this support... maybe he didn't deserve it at all in the first place. ]
This is all my fault! I'm the one who-- [ Another choked sob. He couldn't stand this. After finally being with her. After finally being able to call her his sister--
Why? ]

Yet, when he told Kohaku to stay, the boy frowned. Stay here? Away from his sister? His body tensed, and with a small glance to the body that lied a few feet away from him he almost shook his head. But he couldn't be a burden, right? Not when he was a mess like this.
And so he nodded- ever so reluctantly. ]
M-mm. [ The sound came from the back of his throat, but it was a confirmation of sorts. R- right. Riku was here, so he could help his sister! Right... help... ]

But he owes the other man a thing or two, and he's already on his way as he searches the network for the video that would explain it. It doesn't take long. Just like her, to go out into a rain of fire with nothing but stubbornness to protect her -- they haven't spoken much, but he picked up on that much.
Dumb, but he can respect that particular variety of dumb.
The firey rain peels away from him, his element bending at least that much to his will, as he approaches the tree and the three figures near it. He raises his voice over the crackling of flames.]

Wiping his bloodied hand on his pants, he pushed himself upwards, turning his attention to the other. He didn't like having to call Axel for help, but all things considered, he was the best choice. Couple that with the fact that Axel owed him? And it had made the decision just a little bit easier.
He spoke quietly as he reached the other, intent on keeping the words from reaching Kohaku.]
I need to get them both back to the house. I can handle him, as long as you can handle her. [Because he's pretty sure Axel would rather take the one hundred ( ... )
