TALLYCAT OUTLAW BIKE RACE AND TRACK MEET
TELL EVERYONE TO COME FROM EVERYWHERE.
april 2nd. high noon. kleman plaza, downtown, tallahassee, florida.
at the start of the race, everyone will get a manifest with 5 or so pickup locations. when you arrive at a pickup location, you will receive a package with a destination written on it. the first person to deliver all 5 packages and cross the finish line at lake ella wins.
afterwards, we'll be holding the track meet, where fixed gear riders will compete in skids, sprints, and trackstands.
we'll also have food at lake ella and games of foot down.
hopefully there will be an after party or something in the evening, but that's still in the works.
if you ride bikes, you should definitely race. it's gonna be more fun than competetive, and the race is designed to include a great deal of luck, so everyone has a chance. but if you don't want to race, we desperately need people to man checkpoints. basically, you will be giving racers packages, or taking packages and signing manafests. it'll only take a couple of hours,the checkpoints will be fun places to hang out, and you can make the racers do stuff for your amusement.
