this is lame. however. i just read up online that OCMS has their roots in the harrisonburg music scene. in fact, they started by playing shows WAY back in the day at the little grill collective. the LGC!! my most favorite place to eat on earth & the place that single-handedly helped me fall in love with virginia. this has, out of nowhere, made me fall back in love with that town and that valley and the south. not just because one of my more favorite bands is from there, but for what that sort of symbolizes. it's that kind of a place. where good things can be born, cultivated and blossom.

watch me end up there someday.
i doubt i'd be opposed.
i miss the mountains everyday.
