DA Contests and Other Stuff
Contests
I am entering into a few contests on DA lots of fun there.
The first one to end is the Vocaloid Append Contest.
I am starting off with Neru and Haku together with Appends based on Miku's since they are direct off of Miku, I figured direct off Miku would be the best way to go.
I have the sketches done for both and am working on Neru's lineart. Once Im happy with that I will then do Haku's line art. Coloring will happen tomorrow or Sunday.
If I have time to get a Len & Rin done they will be in the contest as well.

The second is an OC Sailor Senshi contest, with 5 drawings for the characters.
I will be using Sailor Day and Sailor Night together for this contest. Together these two are one senshi Sailor Sun. I will be making and elaborating on their characters as I submit the 5 entries. They have changed a little bit since this picture which I posted 5 Days too early for the contest >_<

The other contest that I may or may not join in is the Mermaid Melody Mascot contest. It would be fun, but I really wanna get the other two done and out of the way first.

As far as Stuff goes....
Started my summer classes and so far they are awesome... In one class we are doing interview 'training' as close to whatever as I can call it. Later on in the course we will also do practice Pitches so that we can get our ideas out to a potential investor and get the ideas for our games, films, cartoons, and whatever the Audio students will be doing when not attached to one of the other 3. This class meets once a week for 7 weeks
The other class is Humanities B and so far we have watched Gladiator and we are about 30 minutes into Shawn of the Dead. Great fun. I honestly have never seen either of these movies before and they are wonderful. We will be finishing Shawn on Tuesday and working on a project related to them that is due I THINK during Thursday's class. Only 7 more weeks until I get a month and a half off for SUMMER! WHEEEE
Dad is working diligently to on a lease for the small train depot from the next town over. The building is around 150 years old. ALL the walls are original, as well as the base flooring. Sometime in the 70's a used car dealership used it as an office and received a new hardwood floor over the original, and Dad is gonna leave that because it is close enough to what the original was. Right now the paperwork is at the State of Illinois historical office trying to get a historical landmark attached to it. The building IS the OLDEST building left in town. Dad intends to turn one of the 4 rooms into a museum as it were. We have a picture of the place from the 50's... I'd have to double check... but the museum room will be recreated to match the image, when the depot was still a stop on the Chicago to St Louis line, now its a fly by town on the Amtrak about 2 1/2 hours south of Chicago on Old Historic Route 66.
Once Dad gets the lease I will be in there whenever I am not at school helping him get it ready to open in September.
I think that is more then enough for this journal entry. Next entry hopefully will include Dolly stuffs
