WEll, I've had a rough week..
My friend, as most of you probably know, died tuesday night in a single car accident coming home from Hockey Night In Montague. Her name was Chelsey MacKenzie, and she had just turned 17 last saturday. We were pretty close, I sat beside her everyday in clothing class and we laughed and joked around. I am so sad to see such a beautiful tanlented young girl gone. If only she had been going slower... But I guess there is no point dwelling on what ifs..
Wednesday I was walking past the clothing lab and I heard ALTA... my heart sunk as I knew what was going to be asked of me. Sure enough two of my very good friends (Ashtyn MacLean and Leslie Harris) we sitting at the sewing machine crying with chelsea's almost finished handbag that she had been working on and was very excited to finished that day at school as her machine foot was broken and she could not sew. With many tears shed we finsihed the handbag, and gave it to her mother. It was possibly the hardest thing I have ever had to do.
Anyways, I just want to say to everyone, don't drive fast, don't take life for granted. Even when it's bad, you're still living, be happy for that. And never let harsh words stand.
