Do you think everything is going to change tho now that the former head of the ASIO has called upon the Australian public to photograph and video tape people of Arabic descent, in a push to stop a potential terrorist attack?

He's been soundly riduculed by most high profile personalities (tv, radio, politicians, etc), so I think people will just ignore him, really, and just assume he's a jerk. Well, apart from the xenophobic jerks themselves, who will think along the same lines.

Australian Muslims practise just the same as any other kind... we say Australian Muslims because it's important that people understand that we can be Muslim and Australian at the same time.

To me, I don't think what people practise as a religion matters. It's all just pigeon holing anyway. We're all just *people* :)
