I think he's brilliant.

Do you watch his docos on the ABC and SBS? Very enlightening. It amused (and sickened) me when Scott McLelland (US presidential spokesperson) kicked him out of an interview when the questions got too tough and he couldn't deny the facts because Pilger had video evidence of it all.

I watch ABC at the BF/fiance/whatever's house when I can but don't get it here. I remember the whole Carlton thing. Carlton got screwed over.

I admire a man that can keep his integrity and not sell his soul. That and someone who says what he thinks and feels Australian government be damned.

That is the Journalist I want to be, and the moralistic issues I will pertake.

And I admire your desire to be so.

If I were to be ajournalist, that's the sort of thing I'd do. Of course, I'm not quite as talented and diplomatic as JP, so I'd probably get myself shot along the way because I'm fairly in-your-face :)

oh the whole going to wars doesn't appeal to me....I'd probably get shot quickly. I'm to outspoken LOL.
Just his morals and standards that appeal to me.

Ditto.

I think our outspoken-ness doesn't surprise either of us :)
