I have noticed myself often getting into specific types music for periods of time. For instance there have been periods where all I want to listen to is metal, rap, Jamiroquai, and so on. This seems a bit strange to me that I can get so locked into a specific type of music that I often have to force myself to listen to something else. Anyways the reason I mention this is because lately all I want to listen to is instrumental music. This is not the first time this has happened. However my biggest problem with getting so into this genre in particular is how much I seek out different bands, and how obscure and difficult it is to find albums from many of these bands. Here in lies my biggest problem, which is if I really want an album I may have to buy it. Fortunately this is not always the case, but I am so accustomed to being able to find anything I want to d/l online that it is a bit frustrating. Although I generally am able to find the cds at least used and I justify it to myself by rationalizing all the shit I have and will continue to d/l. Anyways I just spent like 45$ or so on 5 cds, which is probably the most money I have spent on cds since I was like 17. Although I feel really confident that all the albums I ended up getting will be worth it, so basically what I am saying is if you are as into obscure post-rock instrumental music as I am maybe I can help you out.
