Some good things...
I could go off on another rant about work today, but frankly, I'm tired of doing it. It's not like I'll have any dearth of information to rant about tomorrow, after all. Instead, I want to just list a few things that are good right now.
1. Erin. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her, incredibly lucky to have her. Even on the nastiest days, she makes things better.
2. My friends. Chase and Jenny, Mike and Kim, Jason -- my crew, the cast of my sitcom, the guys who keep me going day-to-day. These guys, I know, are true blue.
3. My family. I know so many people who don't get along with their families, or even don't know them at all, but mine is so close. Even when we fight like cats and dogs, we love each other. Not enough people have that anymore.
4. Firefly and Serenity. Is it geeky of me to list my current pop culture obsession? Maybe. I don't right care. I'm just glad I managed to catch myself up before the movie came out.
5. Home. So many people were utterly devastated by the one-two hurricane punch. I'm okay. And while my grandmother and some of my aunts and uncles will need help rebuilding, everyone can. Everyone will.
6. Futuri-Plex. It's great to know I'm finally going to see ink in a comic book story, and I couldn't have asked for a better collaborator than Matt.
