Still holding strong
It's just short of 11 p.m. and Rita still hasn't caused us too much trouble, other than causing the occasional flicker of the lights or disruption to the TV reception, nothing we can't live with. My brother Chip, up in Baton Rouge, lost power a few hours ago. Don't know if he's got it back, but I'm not too worried. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed about Chase and Jenny... I'll call Mike and Kim tomorrow too, to check 'em out. It's interesting, when something like this happens, it makes you take account of everyone that matters to you. You worry about them. You want to make sure they're okay.
