Delayed gratification
Hey, peeps. Just wanted to let you know there will be a Think About It column this week, but in just a few minutes I've got to dart off to Thibodaux to sell tickets for the Thibodaux Playhouse's production of The Odd Couple (Female Version). So you'll have to wait a day.

On another note, I gave out a test today on verbs. I'm amazed by the results. One of my two classes did wonderfully -- plentys of As and Bs, and the only Fs are to kids who (frankly) you expect to get them because they never put forth any effort. Then there's my other class, where the grades look like everyone cheated off the stupidest kid in the room.
How does that happen?
