Long Story Short
I'm glad I went.
I saw people I haven't seen in years and was glad to see. I saw people I haven't thought of in years and was glad to see. I found out what happened to people who used to mean a lot to me, and I was happy for them. And the few people I really didn't want to see (which is a surprisingly short list, as I realized as I got older that I didn't have enough anger in me to even care about most of them anymore) didn't even show up.
It was a good night.
