Last week I ordered an Iomega external USB burner for all my data replication needs. Got a note today that said it was waiting at the apartment office. They did not send the burner but instead sent a lovely 100GB external hard drive.

Called them up and they said they would be happy to send me a free shipping label so that I could send it back. When I asked about the product they were supposed to send they asked me what type of shipping I would like and named the prices. No no no, it doesn't work like that, I say. I already paid shipping for my product. You sent me the wrong one. This apparently goes on all the time because the representative on the phone could not authorize free shipping. She forwarded it to her manager who will get back in contact with me.

Has anyone had dealings with Iomega before? Is this par for the course? If they insist I'll just have them refund me the money. That's pretty shitty of them though.
