I've been meaning to post for like three weeks now

So Toronto was pretty awesome. I think I rode the subway/bus/streetcar more times in 3 days than in my entire life. And I shall continue to call it a weekend even though the follwoing events took place on Monday thru Wednesday. And the crazy nerd-fest that was the FITC, lol. It was actually pretty interesting. I felt horribly out of place, mostly because I know dick-all about Flash. We got to go see a speaker about all the crazy fun teapot-related Flash stuff. Besides that, we did alot of shopping (and walking!) on Bloor ("Let's go to Bloor!") and there was this really funky comic book shoppe that was pretty sweet, I didn't buy anything though. Oh, and a candy shop with like a bajillion jelly beans. Kim's school friends are pretty awesome. We had dinner at a Thai place, as we usually do, and I nearly died eating a hot pepper. I swear to God, it burned for like ten minutes. I drank like three glasses of water and I could still feel the place on my tongue where the pepper had been. Then back at Kim's, I got really drunk on tequila. Oh, tequila, why must you be the alcohol that agrees with me then causes me to act like an idiot? We mostly just played drunken Brawl before going to bed at 4am. The second day was similar to the first, and equally as fun. Except this time, we needed to buy alcohol so we run, literally, around TO trying to get to the LCBO in the Eaton's Centre before it closed while full of mediochre Japanese food. But we made it. Then went for Crepes with chocolate and stawberries. Yum. Cut to us getting super dunk again and the I'm-never-gonna-have-a-boyfriend-cause-I-suck drunken conversation. Oh tequila, why must you make me be a cliched drunk? The next morning ... er... afternoon we depart for Guelph slightly sick but oh boy, do we have some memories.

And school finally ended, I got my marks back, and they weren't up to their usual standard, but I realize that sometimes standards change when if comes to university. You can definitely tell which classes I liked cause those were the ones I did well in. I'm not too bummed about it, I really stopped caring about school right around midterms. Although I must admit, a 66 average is a little blow to my ego. But I would also like you to take into account that I barely studied (maybe one day) for most of my midterms and finals.

But W00t to summer. FINALLY! I am looking forward to four months of not using my brain, lol. I'm going to be working a bit, still part time but maybe 4-5 days out of the week. I want to go see a shit-tonne of movies this summer. I missed last year when Jess and I would go like every weekend to see something, even if it was shit (*cough*Beerfest*cough*). I saw Ironman yesterday and it was pretty sweet. I've never been a huge fan of Robert Downey Jr., but he definitely pulled it off. Although I did see it without any bias, I'm not into comics and stuff like that so I had no expectations.

I would also like to make a small announcement. I don't want to jinx anything cause it's only been like a week, but I'm currently seeing a nice young man by the name of Marek. It was been a week full of video games, broken DVD players, puppydog eyes, and handholding. I'm glad my tequila-drinking self was wrong. And to all of you who "called it" and/or waggled their eyebrows: shut up, I know.
