Oh god, thank you for post that, I've got to save the link to it!
Please bear with me while a share a story.
Me and the network security guy that used to work for me would occasionally slip into "yip-oneese" speak at the office when being silly to break the stress.
It started one morning at something like 3am when we had spent the last 12 hours straight having to handle a particularly stressful and serious network event that had the Sr. Execs breathing down everyone's neck. While waiting for some tests to complete we were sitting in the data center and hashing over some of the more frustrating happenings of the day. Being sleepless and a little fuzzy-brained by then my comment "yep, I agree" turned into an impromptu "yepyepyepyepyep". Chris (my security guy), apparently having grown up on this stuff too, looked and me strangely for a second, smiled, and chimed in with "yepyepyepyep awwha-awwha-awwah broooooke yepyepyepyep" Totally changed to mood, the stress vanished, and we went on to wrap up our work.
From then on, it became a running gag for us around the office. Of course our group of younger techs and engineers, apparently being deprived as children, had no idea what this was about...the cultural reference went totally over their heads and just thought their bosses were a bit strange. :)
Very glad I could help...lol. I have to admit it makes me laugh a lot and yes it is a shame that the comedy of it is lost on younger generations. It's like a private joke.
