Christmas was, as I expected it to be, very a pleasent holiday with the Malfoys. Even with Draco being ill, I've managed to enjoy myself quite a bit. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy.

My father didn't even send me a Christmas gift. Not a word or anything from him since Mr. Malfoy took me away and brought me back to school. I suppose I should be happy about that, yes? I mean, it's not like he was going to win any sort of award for parenting. Still, I feel like I may have betrayed him. If only I could be the son he wanted...
Mother sent me some new clothing. And a new cloak. It's a lovely slytherin green. Now I won't have to keep borrowing Draco's, when it gets cold out.
