Ah, I'm such a terrible person! I forgot to post all of my WIPs here...and I am too lazy to upload all of them (I uploaded all of them to Facebook, except for the one I'm about to show you). So here is my latest WIP:
I kind of feel like I ruined a good line drawing with my terrible shading. :\ But meh. Whatcha think?
Tuesday (tomorrow) is our last day in class to work on it. I think that I'll just need to do "touch-ups" and add more accurate shadows to the (outer, the one with elliptical lights) ceiling. What I did for that was that I shaded the first 2 columns (from the right) of ceiling tiles. Then I came home and filled in the rest based on the value I added to those first 2 columns. Since closer objects are darker and objects become lighter as you get farther away, I've just been making sure that I have a gradual progression from lighter to darker for each row of ceiling tiles. Once I get back to the site, I will add more accurate shadows. Hopefully, doing this at home will make that go faster.
And for humor's sake, this is what charcoal did to my eraser:
WARNING: My e-mail may not be available!
I e-mailed the person who is paying for the domain I use because the next payment is due on 3/2/2007, but the webhosting company can't bill him yet because he hasn't updated his credit card information since it last expired. I don't know if he will receive my e-mail and/or get to doing this before the payment due date, so until further notice, it is best to contact me via AIM/Yahoo/Jabber/calling if you have any reason to contact me.
You will also know if the domain does not work, because then every picture I have posted in this journal as of January 2007 will not be working.
Health Update
My throat has stopped bleeding. Whoo! This makes me wonder if I really need to go to the doctor. But if my throat does not heal properly, that could cause throat cancer somewhere down the road, so I guess that I will be going just in case to make sure that it's all right. It should be since I've been taking the pills, but we'll see.
Sometimes it still hurts to swallow, but that should go away in time. I looked up the manufacturer's website for the pills I am taking and tests showed that most patients recovered in 4-8 weeks of taking the pills (and for me it has probably only been something like 2-3 weeks so far), but that the amount of time it takes really depends on the person and amount of damage. So there is no certain amount of time that it will be healed for everyone who takes the pills. I am just adding this piece of information to show that this problem is probably not as serious as it seems.
