fun and games

Things have become more interesting recently which is a nice, this year might not be so bad after all. Halloween was a complete waste of time, I don't know what those house elves were doing to the food (apart from ruining it) but the meal was definately not up to Hogwart's usual standards (which still aren't completely acceptable). Malcolm needed to go to the Hospital wing so i accompanied him and quite thankfully missed the Ghosts' performance, not that we couldn't hear it anyway.

Fortunately Malcolm recovered enough to attend the ridiculous pantomime gathering in the rose garden. This too was uneventful, Having to go last was a real pain the arse, sometimes i hate my surname. After watching the first few people dip their wands in, it soon lost it's novelty value. After eventually waiting what seemed like ages, i got to poke about in the water myself and guess what? Nothing. Happened. Waste of time, complete and utter waste of time. I can't believe they even had ministry officials there, what for? Incase some gryffindor idiot fell in and drowned themselves? It doesn't make any sort of sense.

I hope that Professor Dumbledore managed to persuade the governors that my idea of changing the living quarters for the 8th years would be a good thing, the dormitory living has not improved at all in the past few weeks, at least that way we would eliminate some of the stressors and be able to concentrate more on our work.

Just been thinking, Potter has been acting odd lately - says he's got some proof to show me, it never materialized so he's obviously just faking it - i knew he was lying. Have to clean up the common room, Trixie has left more pictures of herself lying about, i caught a first year boy - Raymond Malik trying to sneak a few into his school bag, everytime i gather them all up more appear, its like some damn farce!
