The only goal that really mattered was getting through the day so that he could be with Blaise. Unfortunately, he didn't have the option of skipping classes with the Headmistress cracking down so hard on the school, but that didn't mean that he couldn't avoid the luxury of trading grins and smiles and teasing glances with his boyfriend from time to time.
But now, he wanted nothing more than to just be with him. Speeding up his steps, he arrived moments later.
He straightened as the door opened, then grinned when he spotted Theo's rreflection in the mirror, turning to the other boy and dancing towards him happily.
"Happy birthday, Teddylove," he crooned, stopping close enough to press a kiss to Theo's cheek, just in front of his ear. "Did you have a good day? It's abaout to get better!"
Theo's smile widened as he felt the boy step close enough for him to circle his arms behind his waist.
"Getting better every second," he answered cheerfully. Blaise felt bundled and comfortable in his arms, and he pulled back to comment on the matter.
His eyes caught his attention first, and he spent several seconds letting the reaction to Blaise's striking good looks slide through him and linger. When he spoke again, it was with a partially distracted tone.
"You feel cozy," he commented, holding onto Blaise's gaze for as long as he could.
He smirked smugly and winked before looking back at the bundle and blankets. "I'm very cozy. And you're the only one who gets to feel the fact. I've got a surprise for you," he explained, his tone ridiculously sing-songy. Realising this only after the fact, he nuzzled his face into Theo's neck, hoping to obscure the slight flush, but he was in too good a mood to pay much attention to it for very long.
"You should dress warmly too," he added, his voice muffled against Theo's neck. "We have to go outside to see it.
He was nearly beside himself with delight, and his eyes danced happily as he listened to Blaise and felt his face nuzzling against him.
"We're going outside?" he inquired, making very little movement away from his cuddly boyfriend just yet.
"Are you going to tell me about my surprise? Maybe a hint?" he prodded, smiling at Blaise and returning the nuzzling so that he could catch a small kiss on the corner of his lips.

"Outside is the hint," Blaise retorted, turning his face to help the kiss and grinning. "Besides, don't you want a surprise teddybear? That's half the fun, surely," he added teasingly, and pressed a proper kiss to Theo's lips, lingering several seconds before pulling away again.
"Come on, we should get going," he told the other boy, but made no move to pull out of Theo's arms.

"I suppose I can wait for outside," he smiled, tilting his head at the other boy. "And yes, we should," he stated, his arms remaining firmly in place for several long moments before he finally sighed with reluctance and moved toward his wardrobe in search of warm winter clothing.
He laughed quietly to himself when he tossed a look back over his shoulder at Blaise. "I can't believe you're going outside, cold as it is."

Blaise sighed heavily, leaning poetically against the wall as he watched Theo start digging through his wardrobe. "I know," he told him, hiding down the smirk as best he could.
"The sacrifices I make for you overwhelm me sometimes, but you pay me back, oh, thousandthfold, at the very least. Usually always more though. You're worth the outside weather, but I might depend on you to keep me warm during the walk at least."

Grinning inwardly as he listened to Blaise's sigh, Theo sifted through the possibilities.
"I believe I can do that," Theo answered wryly, sliding a soft sweater over his head before moving on to complete the rest of the process.
When he had finished, he approached his leaning boy, tempting him closer with a small bit of pressure on his hip. "But if you want me to make any promises to the effect, you'll have to earn it with at least one good kiss."

"Golly, the demands never stop, do they," Blaise teased, moving back towards Theo eagerly. Moving closer, he lifted his hands to plunge them into Theo's hair, threading his fingers through the strands and ruffling them up a little, watching his hands work with a mildly thoughtful expression before he eventually dropped his gaze back to Theo's.
"Well, I think I can accomodate that request," he admitted, smirking and leaning in even closer, shifting to the balls of his feet so their mouths were on even before pressing his lips to Theo's, swiftly asking to deepen the kiss with his tongue.
Bracing his hands on the small of Blaise's back, he kept him pressed tight enough against him that he didn't have to worry about his boyfriend moving suddenly away. He wanted this first, and he deserved it.
Tilting his his head, he let his tongue thrust deeply into Blaise's mouth, giving in to his unspoken request and satisfying his own urge at the same time. No matter how many times they kissed, the taste was still exhilarating, and his fists balled together against Blaise's back, thrilling in the sensation of letting his tongue glide alongside his boy's.
Blaise murmured softly in the back of his throat, the words not there to be said aloud, but that was okay, he knew Theo'd understand.
His hands tightened in the other boy's hair as he kissed back enthusiastically, leaning a little more forward to rest more of his weight against Theo so he could get closer to kiss harder and deeper.
It was easy to lose himself in a kiss like that when Blaise was so willing and eager. He even had a strong suspicion that Blaise's willingness had very little to do with the fact that it was his birthday, and much more to do with the fact that he really loved kissing Theo.
Just the thought was enough to make him moan weakly in response, locking Blaise in even tighter against him until the kiss was so hard that it bordered on desperate.
He continued for several long moments before finally finding the grudging will in him to break away, his breaths coming quickly and falling hotly against Blaise's lips. "Outside?" he suggested, figuring he could manage at least one word to remind them both of the original plan. He wouldn't let Blaise's plans go to waste by tempting him back into the bed.
He only managed to convince himself to nod in reply by reminding himself that they could- and probably would- but later. After he'd given Theo his gift.
"Yeah," he added a second later, a little breathlessly, but made no move to detach himself from the other boy. "Outside. For the... the thing..."
Theo's mouth was incredibly tempting though, and his breath was hot and fast and-
Blaise blinked hard, dragging his gaze back up to Theo's eyes, and smiling somewhat lopsidedly. "We'll kiss out there- lots."
"Lots," he answered firmly, nodding while grinning slowly back at Blaise's torn expression.
It took nearly everything he had stored up in self-control to pull himself away from the other boy, although he let his hand fall to entwine with Blaise's.
"Do I need to help with anything?" he asked, finally noticing the folded blankets on the bed.
His smile spread into a grin and he moved closer to the bed, tugging Theo along but not letting him pick up the bundle, using his free hand instead. "Nah, I got it. It's a surprise," he added somewhat smugly and smirked at the other boy.
"You might guess what it is if you picked it up," he explained a little more, and squeezed Theo's hand, starting to lead him out of the dorm.
