You know all those high street shops that normally do a maternity range?
The ones in Cambridge don't stock it... not even when they have 3 stores....
You know those shops that do stock maternity clothes? Like jeans? That are all hideous but you've resigned yourself to buying them because they're all there is?
Yeah, not anymore, because now were moving on to the summer lines... and pregnant people don't wear jeans after Easter...
You know how mothercare stocks cardigans and shirts and such?
Yeah. not anymore, because regardless of the fact that it snowed last week pregnant people don't need cardigans again until october. No no. And they all want to wear sleevless casual tops, without cardigans. Even though most of them who they'd fit now, won't BE pregnant in the summer. And no pregnant people have to work in offices anymore... because it's spring... and therefore shirts are forbidden...
I HATE THEM ALL!!!
I mean, it'd be bad enough pulling this shit on normal women, but women with a very small selection of places to get clothes from, whose normal clothes don't fit, whose bodies are twice the size they used to be and who are as hormonal as fuck... These people are CRAZY!
So I cried at them until they felt bad.
PS If anyone even thinks of suggesting that I order things from the internet (which is well known for its magical ability to make things fit, especially for styles that you've never worn when you're not sure of your size), I shall hurt them. I shall hurt them, and then I shall cry on them. So there.
