So on Friday I got a call from an agency woman asking if I was still looking for work... it was in Cambridge but it looked really interesting so I figured sure, why not?
Later Friday I got another call saying that I had an interview for it on Wednesday... which was very scary considering it involved morning sickness, travel sickness, interview nausea and over 9 hours of traveling... but it was a good job so I figured if I wasn't vomiting by the time I got on the train I'd go for it...
Wednesday rolled around and I was feeling very ill and very almost did not go, but I had an egg roll for breakfast and went anyway.
2 trains and 2 missed buses later I was only just on time, but I did make it.
I got to the place and the receptionist denied that I had an interview, but I did not panic.
They asked questions about languages and theories I had not used or seen in over 2 years, but I answered calmly, though sometimes with the answer that I did not know.
Had to wait an hour for my first train back, and the second train was late and then delayed, but I was not sick.
Heard back today that I have the job and am moving to Cambridge.
And do you know how far away I was from not getting that job?
A bowl of rice crispies for breakfast.
