Vampire Diaries: Midnight Book Review!
Ok I just got through reading the latest & last book that L.J Smith is gonna be writing of The Vampire Diaries, then after that, if any other books come out they will be written by ghost writers (Gay!). So I just finished it, it was an ok book, not the best of the series...
I really, really hate book Elena so effing much you don't even know! She was alright near the end, but when Damon dies, she was completely ridiculous, saying she loved him, that her heart called to his or w/e, & she says Stefan, was like home to her, her soul-mate. She gets jealous because Bonnie tries to Stop Damon from going back to the Dark Dimension (while doing that sleepwalking/talking thing she does) & Elena is jealous cause Damon took Bonnie & not her! I love Damon/Bonnie together in the books, Elena was incredibly selfish when Damon died to save Bonnie, she got to be on his head the longest, while poor Stefan, had lost his brother, and is realizing that Elena is a cheating whore, just kidding, that's me thinking that lmfao xD well she is! No but he finally realizes that Elena loved Damon, I'm so confused about how she feels about Stefan, i have no fucking clue, but Bonnie deserved Damon, Damon treated her well, well good for him, anyways, & Bonnie was always sticking up for him, but when Damon died, everyone was worried & comforting Elena, when Bonnie, loved Damon & Damon only & is grieving herself.
I hate that throughout the books everyone treats Bonnie like a child. She gets scared easily cause she can sense things other people can't & she's psychic/Witch, if they could see/feel what she does then they would act the same. She is the same fucking age as everyone, & just cause she is tiny doesn't make her a child. I'm mad at Damon for leaving her in that hell hole, only thinking of himself, about getting turned back into a vampire, & when Elena & Stefan come to get them, he stops paying attention to poor sweet Bonnie, who is hopelessly in love with him & deserves him, & i am sure that Damon was harboring some feelings for her as well! But he stops paying attention to her & focus's on Elena!
It's always Elena, Elena, Elena with everyone in the books, she wants everyone for herself, she is so fucking selfish! Sorry for the rant but i can't stand her, she is so vain & whatnot. She i think loves Stefan, who's heart she keeps breaking, & Breaks Damon's too, & strings him along, she is a liar, & so conceited, i honestly have no idea why either of the Salvatore's have any attractions to someone like that. It sounds like i hate the books i don't, i just hate Elena. She doesn't deserve anyone, & she should have been killed instead of Damon.
The people i ship in the book are: Bonnie/Damon OTP (in the books) I guess Stefan/Elena (even though he deserves way better) & since this book Meredith/Matt!
I know this isn't exactly a review of the book, more of a hate rant against Elena. I'm not one for writing reviews. II suck at them really. But anyways that's how i felt during the book. The shocking twist that Obasaan is really the one controlling Shinichi & Misao did shock me, & the when Matt went home to see his mom & the spooky malach infected kids were looking at him & the one in the tree ate his own Guinea Pig, that gave me the heebie jeebies! But yeah that's what i got to say about the book.
I'm now reading the Sookie Stackhouse books, just finished the first one, now on to the second one "Living Dead in Dallas" It's my first time reading this series, since i just started watching True Blood in December, but i love them <3
