new year...new things

well its a new year. 2005 was an allright year, but in reality it sucked. i lost 2 people that was very very close to me. my uncle randy, my fishing partner, and my grandfather buzzy. i lost them both in a matter of 2 weeks. it stunk. i miss them dearly, but i know they arent suffering anymore and they are in a better place.

i saw my best friend dan and my brother join the national guard. dan went in and got back allready, while my brother is still there, but graduates on jan 19th.

i reconnected with some friends. i reconnected with brittany and crystal. that was probably the 2 best things that has happened to me this past year. as me and brittany grew as friends and we cherrish each other. and crystal and i just picked up from where we left off. i cherrish her friendship, and to tell you the truth shes an awesome girl. both of them are.

i saw my alma mater, the reynolds high football team win the d10 championship and come within one game of the state championship. it was special. what made it more special was i coached those kids in midgets, and watching them grow into fine young men and accomplishing their goals was truely something awesome to see. i was proud of those kids. they were champions in midgets, and they are champions now as seniors and juniors.

my love life in 2005 was non existent. i kind of grew accustomed to it. i truely feel ill grow up and be alone the rest of my life.

i saw in 2005 that me and carrie are still friends. she lives in north carolina and is still teaching down there. she loves it, and im happy for her. she comes home for every holiday pretty much and we hang out and go out all the time. the most recent i had to "rescue" her, as her car wouldnt start.

i got my car all "pimped" out in 2005. i bought and put on a body kit, a carbon fiber hood, and bmw headlights. it was also painted a fantastic metallic blue color. i also had my uncle shave off the wing, and paint the center tail piece to my brake lights. it really turned out great. i did most of the body work/prep work. i sanded the shit out of that car. it was as smoothe as glass. now i just have to get the inside looking as good and buy some wheels. im looking at 18 inch katana destiny tires with low profile tires like i have now.

hauser came home and we partied and reconnected. me and becca grew more as friends. there are a lot of other people that i grew to be friends with, and that i am greatfull for as you can never have too many friends.

i realized this year that i have to go back to school if i ever want to make more money than i do now and move up in my current job. i also realized i want a second job to help pay for school and my friend mike and dan at fye are trying to get me in their. i also realized i want to try being a wrap around, but i have to do that after i go to school as you have to have a bacholers degree and 1 year experience working with children or an associates degree and 3 years experience working with children. the good news is i allready have all the experience i need and was told id be hired on the spot because of my current job, but the bad news was, you guessed it, not enough credit hours.

there are many more things that happened to me in 2005 that im not going to put in here, but looking ahead to 2006 i hope its better and i hope i get things going in the right direction. sometime this year i wanna quit smoking, lose weight, go to school, advance in my job, get another job, make a lot more money, be happy, fish a lot more, grow closer with my friends, go on a vacation, be the best that i can be, maybe meet someone and start a relationship (or maybe i allready met that someone and dont know?), go to a casino and try my hand at texas hold em' since im really good around here, go to more pirates and steelers games and possibly some indians games, make my parents, friends, and brother proud of me accomplishing something, help people out in thier time of need and make sure they and all my friends know that ill be there for them no matter what, and much much more.

heres to 2006 and a new beginning, a breath of fresh air, and a new year.
