There are so many assumptions packed into that short quote, a full answer could be a lengthy post all on its own! :)

Bottom line: teaching and learning obedience based on the respect of earned rank, and learning to follow orders of known superiors--who are known to be on your "side"--during a fight is TOTALLY different from teaching and learning how to respond to a threat.

Really, out of context (and I point that out just in case there's a contextual frame that might alter the meaning), the quote leads to the conclusion women can't be trusted in any military situation. It assumes all an enemy soldier has to do is tell them to obey new orders, and the woman will melt into allegiance-altering obedience. And that women, not men, are uniquely wired to this twisted result of training.

That's bullshit bordering on male-centric submission fantasies.

Any training--military or martial arts based--that encourages a student to obey orders to submit to victimization for the pleasure or gain of an enemy is a subversion and corruption of ethical, respect-based training.
