I picked blackberries all day today. I'm pooped. But I have a tasty cobbler now.
I'm teaching a class this week, starting tomorrow. I'm quite nervous as I've never taught 1st-3rd grades before. I'm not sure what their interest level or attention span will be.
So I'm not planning anything specific, I'm going to play it by ear, see what they want to do, and how ling they like staying on one project.
It's going to be a long day.
I'll probably write specific (or more specific) lesson plans tomorrow. After I get a feel for the kids.
We have to start with a basic project.
20 minutes to paint a landscape with tempra, no further instruction.
then the last day they will have the same assignment.
The goal is to see how much they learn. It's for the NEA grant stuff. I wonder if they're going to improve at all.
