Arabs Think I'm Gay
Melissa and I once saw a commercial for some disposable sitcom or another were a guy was showing off his tattoo. He claimed it was the Chinese symbol for "Mighty Warrior." But then somebody who actually read Chinese informed him that it meant he was in a relationship with another man, and that he played the part of the woman.
I have a vanity license plate -- "BHIPPO", for reasons that should be obvious to anybody reading this blog.
But a Verizon guy who just came to my door informed me that my license plate means "I love him" in Arabic.
So. Anybody driving behind me who speaks Arabic thinks that either it's my wife's car, or that I'm gay.
I'm trying to figure out if this counts as a bug or a feature.
