Hey Hey , Who needs a Green Card
Well the events in the last month or so have been quite odd. Recently our school was raided, by the ministry of education and the foreign affairs police. I just recently changed schools, so my Alien Resident Certificate is still valid but not for the school I am working at right now. The tranfering process is not finished yet, so TECHNICALY I am not supposed to be working until the process is finished. Well I keep an extra pair of scissors on me at all times when the red tape gets to hard to break by hand. On monday, the authorities came and I was in the alley having a cigarette. My coworkers came out and told me to stay there. So I hid in the corner near an escape door, smoking my butts. I was thinkoing of climbing up the building next door and hiding on somone's apartment porch but naaaa then I would get charged for breaking and entering. SO I opened the door to the lane outside our school and took a sharp left and went home. So nothing happened and I was lucky again. So the next day we get a call, from one of the other schools. My one roomate from Ohio works there and one of my good friends. They also got raided, they were not so lucky. The school heard the authorities come to the door so the rest of them went down to the basement. Well they were all hidden down there and looking for ways out. But the Foreign affairs police went straight down to the basement. When they came down the steps the took pictures becuase it was dark , so they were basically screwed. Any way , My roomate and my other friend spent 4.5 hours being detained at the Police department. So my roomate is waiting to see what the police are going to do to him, possibly he would have to leave for a year. My other friend, has to leave and not come back for 5 years. So hopefully my process will be done soon, and our school does not get raided again.
