Blaine Anderson. I found a bow tie of yours in my car from the other night. I think you'll want it back, but I kind of want to keep it because when I saw it earlier it made me smile.
Can I keep it? [Ira chuckled softly, turning the radio down.] Call me when you can, bye.
[Blaine had a ridiculously huge smile on his face when he heard the message, enough that it made almost everyone in the teacher's lounge turn to look at what was so entertaining. He held the phone against his chest, then ventured outside to sit on a quiet bench to call back, listening to Ira's phone ring, waiting for his message or for him to pick up.]
[Ira was happy to see Blaine calling him so soon. Ira thought a call would come in after school. He answered quickly, taking a seat on a bench outside.]
[Blaine laughed, rather excitably, forcing himself to sound more composed.] Am I speaking with the bow-tie thief? Very naughty of you. Whatever will I do with you? [He knew he had just forgotten it in Ira's car, but teasing him was fun.]
Don't tempt me so. I have 2 classes left. [Blaine laughed in delight.] But perhaps I will let you keep it. If you promise to give it a loving home.
Wonderful! We are preparing for a concert for the parents just before Halloween during the school costume party. My kids are so excited! I hope I can lure you as my date with promises of paper cups of cider?
But I love tempting you. I have a place for your bow tie. I have a mirror in my bedroom I use every morning, so it'll hang on the corner. That way you cross my mind. Cheesy, but true.
You want me as your date? I mean I'm more than pleased you've asked me. [Ira knew how special Blaine's job and his kids were to him, so he's tickled to be invited. Ira just had a big smile on his face, so big people are looking at him weird.] Absolutely. Do I get to dress up?
Aw, it's not cheesy, it's the sweetest thing anyone ever said to me. [He smiled to himself, his heart beating extra fast in his happiness.] God I adore you. How did I ever not have an Ira in my life before?
Yes! Please! I always wear a tuxedo for any concerts. It makes the kids feel special. So I'd love my date to be dressed up too. Then I get to undress you afterwards, bonus. And I want everyone to meet you. I talk about you all the time.
Now that is the sweetest thing anyone has said to me. I am so glad we met when we did. It feels right. You better prepare yourself though, when I see you tonight I'll be kissing you.
I can't resist a man in a tuxedo. I just can't. I'm really looking forward to this though. I am going to clap the loudest for your class. You've talked about me? [Ira almost made an awww comment. You can practically hear it in his voice.] All good I hope?
If you didn't, I'd be bouncing and begging for kisses, so it's good you are prepared to offer them. [Blaine giggled, yes, giggled, it was vaguely ridiculous but he felt elated, light on his feet, definitely falling head over heels in love.]
We'll appreciate that. It will be sectionals soon, the kids are a little nervous about the competition, they need the ego boost. And I hope you equally like taking the tuxedo off the man. [He said low so he wouldn't be overheard.]
Of course all good! Everyone on the faculty is dying to meet you in person. They may be disappointed you don't really walk on water, but I think they'll get over it when they see how cute your smile is.
An ego boost they will have. I know their great, I mean I've sen the videos on your phone. [Ira sipped his hot chocolate, and smirked softly.] You naughty man. I can promise I'll be taking you out of the tuxedo too... There isn't a part of you I can resist. I like feeling that way too.
I can't wait. I already know I'm going to make goodie bags for your students. But this means you'll have to come to the Christmas party my work has. The photography magazine that is.
[Blaine grinned back.] The perfect end to a perfect night, to be sure. Entirely Ira-fied. My sexy snuggle bunny.
You will? Aw, they'll love that! Thank you! [He smiled thoughtfully. He liked how they fit together.] I would be so entirely honored, Ira. I hope there will be mistletoe.

It's no problem. I am really excited. I hope I'm alright with your kids. Now for the clothing. Can I wear my suspenders?
This will be my second Christmas party, and last year there was mistletoe everywhere.

I am sure my kids will just adore you. You are irresistible after all. And yeah, of course! I like your suspenders. Adorable.
I hope you don't mind me making it a mission to kiss you under every sprig we find.

That is ambitious, Blaine. I hope thee is double the mistletoe toe.
