Pre-operative Jitters
So, I go in for my first surgery EVER tomorrow this morning. Having the old gallbladder removed... I didn't even realize I had one until it caused me that unbearable pain. (I say "realized" because I knew I had one, but never noticed it, you know?)
I'm fairly nervous. I have to remember to tell the anesthesiologist that the last time I went under, the stuff made me itch. And I'm SOOOO thirsty, but I can't drink anything. Argh.
I thought I'd have a lot of other stuff to say, but I can't think of any now. I know I won't be back to the journal for a while - at least I'm pretty sure, but we'll see. I hope I can leave the hospital this afternoon, rather than stay overnight. It would be nice to go catch a movie with Mouse and Layla. I'm thinking "No Country for Old Men". Hee hee.
