Who am I?
None of you people would even recognize me the way I am right now. I've spent all day working with power tools in a shipyard in Rockland Maine. I will be working in this shipyard until September. I walk around all day wearing a hardhat because I live and work in a construction zone. Yeasterday I spent all afternoon down in the hold of a ship using a grinder and a needle gun. The entire space got so full of rust particles that I had to wear a gas mask. You should've seen me. I was covered in rust and using a powertool with sparks shooting out of it. What the hell am I doing?
What can I say, I needed a summer job. I get payed shit and the work is increadably hard. My hands are bleading, I'm filthy, my back is killing me, and I'm covered in bruises. But hell, I'm happy. Life is really just a collection of experiences and this is one hell of an experience. I'm just so glad i'm not working at starbucks for the summer.
