Strategy vs. luck?
so what does it mean to be lucky? or is it skill. me and my friend joe had a conversation about life and chess. i told him i was no good at chess but he likes it because unlike cards there is some skill involved. i said to him that i liked billards because its more like my life. billards starts off as luck but as time moves on you gain skill. i said this "[my life] started off as just random lucky moments that built me to be the person i am and now with this skill i've learned i can take on the world"
