Friday Five Things
I'm trying to post things more often, so starting a Friday "Five Things I am Thinking About" thing...
1. Schadenfreude
The noose is tightening around Tr*mp, and while it is a pleasure to watch him writhe and panic, and to anticipate his exit... it's just depressing that this B-grade celebrity moron ever got elected to this office, and all the harm he and his enablers have done just makes me so sad and tired.
2. Shhhh...
A Quiet Place is a very good movie and exactly my kind of "horror" movie. An interesting premise, good internal logic, no misogyny or gore, scary but not over the top. Like Signs, but if someone was interested in making a good movie instead of being clever. The quiet also made it quite an audience event - everyone was super aware of all the noises we were (trying not) to make, we could all hear each other gasping and swearing. It was fun!

4. I never thought I would look forward to winter so much...
... but I am totally over this warm weather. I just want to be warm and toasty in bed while it's chilly and the rain is thundering down on the roof.
5. Got an action-packed weekend planned!
Some serious cleaning (really hope I knock that on the head this weekend), lots of baking and some plans with friends. Definitely not dreading doing all of that while suffering through vicious menstrual cramps, no sir!!!
