Introduction
Hi!!!
I'm from Brazil and I loooooooove manga! I always have loved those cartoons with big-eyed people... and live-actions like Jaspion, Changeman, Flashman, Jiraya... But I only was introduced to the wonders of manga when I was 12 years-old. The first manga that I could read a bit was Ranma through the english translations. My sister received as a present the last volume from Sailor Moon, but we didn't know japanese, so...
But I only was acquainted with manga, when I discovered scanlations... *sigh* Thanks to fans that were patient enough to translate and edit mangas to others fans that didn't have access to it, I could really know manga.
The manga industry here is beginning, so, I don't have as much manga as I'd like to have (and my bank account is thankful for it). My sister and I started buying some titles from Japan, but we have only 3 months of japanese and can't read much yet. We have only 1 artbook that is from Tanemura-sensei's Full Moon! We treasure it very much!!! I think we can buy the Fruits Basket artbook next, although my dream is to buy X-zero, North Side and South Side from CLAMP.
Well, I think that's it (about manga and me).
